It couldn't have been in a happier place. Summer Bible camp -- thinking about God and learning to live like Jesus himself. I was only sixteen years old and over 300 miles from home. I didn't really have any friends at this camp but I was making my way just fine. My councilor had nominated me as a candidate for Mr. Youth Camp. Boy, to win that honor and get a free trip to camp next year. I really wanted that badly. The kid in the bunk next to me volunteered to be my campaign manager and considering he was a stranger was most helpful.

It was that night that it happened. Suddenly, without warning my eager campaign manager's hand was exploring the underside of my blankets. I had a brother and his hand was often in my covers as a pinch, punch or prod. However, this strange hand was full of intent and hunger. My mother's touch never expressed such clinging and desire for love.

At 16 years I wasn't ready to hold a girls hand much less this fellow's. So, I pushed away once, twice and resorted to a friendly punch. What? Back for more? Hit! Hit! This guy just wouldn't quit. Rather than punch back he always returned with a firm hungry clasp. Ribbing my knuckles to the max. I gave it may very best shot -- Once -- ouch! Twice -- oooh! -- Three and four! How much can this guy take? Why won't he stop touching me? Bash! Bash! That really had to hurt. Finally, I was left in peace and still not a word between us. The next day my campaign manager moved to another room without saying good-by. I never knew what he said to the councilor. I have often wondered who his next object of affection might have been. 

Over the years this was my first but not my last "come on." After checking around I find that many men have similarly been approached. Perhaps you have been drawn into this way of life. If so you might want to consider an alternate life stile and in the process find a happy life. 

This question may be considered either logically or morally. Many historians claim that the great civilizations of the past crumbled because of moral decadence and rampant homosexuality. Weather one agrees with this thesis or not we do know that the homosexual act never produced a baby. Therefore, reason teaches us that if everyone becomes a homosexual then human kind will cease to exist in just one generation. For an individual bent upon self-destruction this may not be a problem but healthy minds understand the import of this threat. 

Naturally, to multiply means more than to sire two dozen illegitimate offspring. God intended for man and woman to live together as lifelong partners. Firstly, to physically procreate and secondly, to impart moral and social values. Thus, human life will prosper and the image of God will shine in his creation upon earth. Ultimately, God's kingdom will be filled with a great throng of joyful saints. The homosexual life stile is totally incapable of fulfilling these divine objectives and homosexuality certainly robs human kind of its highest joy.

A moment of foolish pleasure cannot compare to
a lifetime of dignity and an eternity of unexcelled bliss.

Some say Homosexuals are born and some say that they are made. These both have a good point. Yes, GAYS are born in a very simplistic manner of speaking. All of human kind is born with a multitude of perversions (defined as sin in the Bible) and irregularities. Some are inclined to thievery, some to deception, some to murder and some to sexual impropriety or adultery or homosexuality. Many individuals with a mystical leaning and are subsequently given to witchcraft or idol worship. All of humanity is born with some form of destructive vice and these must find help in the same way.

Sin in its many forms
Takes you farther than you planed to go
And keeps you longer than you planned to stay.

One fact that the militant GAY community would rather keep suppressed is the truth that GAYS are flaming EVANGELICALS. No, not the kind that invites people to prayer but the kind that prey upon unsuspecting youth. Homosexuals are constantly looking for young fresh meat. This is how and why that so many are drawn into the GAY life. The GAY way is to entice the uninitiated to experimentation and trial. Thus, an inexperienced youth is sexually awakened in an unnatural and homosexual context. After experiencing sexual pleasure from the same sex this unfortunate youth wrongly concludes that they are homosexual. 

The inexperienced youth doesn't understand what has happened. We know that sexual organs respond to pressure and not sexual orientation. To state this in the extreme we point out that an organism might be achieved by inadvertently leaning against an object as unlikely as a tree and yet this makes no one a "herbasexual." Likewise, falling prey to someone of the same sex does not make one a homosexual. Similarly, being raped does not transform the victim into a prostitute. These lives must be chosen and then lived one day and one act at a time. Choose purity -- choose life -- choose happyness! 

If you have had a homosexual experience Christ will forgive you completely. However, you must ask Christ to receive forgiveness. You must determine to make a change. If you have fallen prey to the demon of homosexuality you can be set free now and start a new life today. With God all things are possible. Jesus still sets the captive free.

The first time I saw this word was on the wall of the locker room in High School in 1964, before it was generally used to describe homosexuality. Each of the two letters stood about 10 inches high. I inquired about the meaning and was informed that the "G.A." was another word denoting "queers." I was further informed that the "GA" stood for "Grab A--" Really? Because of my unpleasant Youth Camp initiation, I fully understood the connotation. Although I didn't win the title of "Mister Youth Camp," at least I could still call my self "Mister."
